Managing director of Sodexo Ireland, Margot Slattery, has been awarded the 'Empowering Women Award 2013' at this year''s 'Women Mean Business' Conference and Awards.
Notable speakers at the conference were Cherie Blair, Kresse Wesling of Elvis & Cresse and Julie O'Neill of Gilead Science ltd.
Margot also won the 'Woman of the Year Award' at the UK Shine Awards last year which honours women's achievements in the travel, tourism and hospitality sector.
She is on Sodexo's Lesbian Gay and Bisexual network and is Ireland's representative on Sodexo’s Diversity and Inclusion Council . Margot is also noted as one of the founding members of Ireland’s first Diversity Charter.
