No Price Increase At Bulmers

In spite of a background of recent price increases from a number of competitors, Bulmers Ltd have confirmed that the Clonmel company has no intention of raising prices on any of its products at this time.As well as its main Bulmers offerings, the company includes Becks Vier, Hoegaarden, Tennant and a number of other speciality beers in its product portfolio. Bulmers director of marketing Stephen Kent claimed that the company had made a conscious decision not to pass on increased costs to is customers.“We are in the same position as many other companies in our sector and have experienced increases in our business costs, particularly fuel and raw materials. However, we know how difficult it is for our customers, so we want to do our bit by holding prices steady. We will absorb input cost increases for the rest of the year and hope that the impending Exchequer Budget will not affect the duty of alcohol.”
