Ryanair to Reduce Check-In Fees

Ryanair is set to roll out more improvements in its customer service, as a number of fees are set to be reduced and services improved.

Ryanair, which recently celebrated its 30th birthday today, will introduce new, lower fees in areas that have been frequently the subject of customer complaints. The airline will also introduce new services and in-flight options. According to the Irish Mirror, some of the changes are:

Airport check-in fees will be reduced from €70 to €45 Missed departure fees lowered by ten per cent A flight cancellation option (€15 each way) A new in-flight menu with improved food options New seats with more leg room As well as these changes, customers can expect a new improved website with less 'confusing' price options and a personalised experience. A new app is also being developed.

The new features are another step towards Ryanair recreating its image as a 'nicer' company, since Michael O'Leary famously said the company will "try to eliminate things that unnecessarily piss people off."
