£500,000 Refurbishment Begins On Ramada Plaza Hotel

It is reported that an estimated £500,000 has been earmarked for refurbishment plans at Belfast's Ramada Plaza Hotel, with the conferencing and banqueting suites set for an upgrade.

The news comes after £1m was invested in the hotel in the shape of the Grand Ballroom, lobby and Laganview Suite being refurbished.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, Rajesh Rana, director of Andras Hotels, said: "We are delighted that this next stage of the investment at the Ramada Plaza will soon commence. This refurbishment is design-led, with designers Philip Rodgers providing a unique look that will feature handmade fittings and bespoke items of furniture and lighting."

Andras House group also four other hotels in Belfast, including two Ibis hotels and the Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn (formerly Days Hotel).

The group reported that it had increased its profits to £3 million in its latest set of accounts.
