Burlington Hotel Rebranded As 'Double Tree By Hilton Dublin'

Dublin’s Burlington Hotel has been officially renamed ‘Double Tree’ by Hilton Dublin.

The hotel is also being refurbish in a €16m phased programme of investment. Double Tree will install a new floor with 18 conference suites and meeting rooms, each facilitating up to 100 delegates. All 501 guestrooms are being renovated with the addition of 42” flat screen TVs.

The hotel’s restaurant options have undergone an overhaul with the new Sussex restaurant forming an open dining area created for the service of the brand’s Wake up Double Tree Breakfast. Plans are being made to transform the Mespil Bar into an executive lounge. Bellini’s Bar will also be renamed the ‘B Bar’.

“Whilst the hotel will retain much of the character for which it has long been known and loved, the transformation is already apparent from the moment you step inside the lobby,” said general manager, David Monks. “New design features such as mood lighting, wood panelling, and more subtle, muted colours combine to create a contemporary, minimalist effect.  This is a new era for the hotel and we are confident that both regular and new guests will be hugely impressed.”

The hotel’s renovation is due to be completed next spring.
