Carton House Appoints Four New Senior Staff Members

Co. Kildare's Carton House hotel, spa and golf resort has announced the appointment of four new senior staff members to its management team.

The first of these new additions, Selina Murphy, will be taking on the role of deputy manager. As a 20 year veteran of the hospitality industry, Murphy has previously held senior management positions with The Choice Hotel Group at Liffey Valley and Dublin Airport, as well as serving as deputy general manager of Dublin's Gibson Hotel.

Murphy will be joined on the management team by Lorraine Allis, who will serve as assistant director of sales and marketing. Allis has spent the past decade working within a number of lucrative Irish hotel groups, including the Carlton Group, FBD and Sinnott Hotels. Her new posting at Carton House will see her rolling out campaigns for the resort to support the residential, conference, leisure, corporate, food, golf and spa markets.

Meanwhile, Sean Clancy will be fulfilling the position of golf sales manager, having previously worked at Carr Golf Travel, Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links, and The Celtic Manor Resort, and the Michelin-trained Paul Quinn will be bringing over 20 years’ experience of restaurant managing to Carton House's Linden Tree Restaurant as its new head chef, coming to the resort from Nolita in Dublin.

Carton House general manager Adrian McLaughlin expressed his belief that these appointments further strengthen the resort’s position as one of Ireland’s top destinations, as well as its reputation for providing top class service to guests.
