Christina O Yacht Off The Market

The Christina O superyacht has been taken off the market by her Irish owners according to a report in The Sunday Times.

The yacht, which was transformed into a luxury vessel by Aristotle Onassis, the Greek shipping magnate, was later bought by Total Ship Services - an Irish consortium. The consortium is believed to have paid around €66 million for the yacht in the late 1990s and it was then refurbished by the firm Sandyway Investments at a cost of around €2 million.

The refurbished yacht has 18 rooms and includes a swimming pool, gym, beauty salon and helipad and has hosted many high profile events over the years. It is available to charter for €455,000 per week, with a crew of 39.

The owners had put it on the market last year for €25 million but withdrew it last week. It is still available for charter.
