Renowned travel guide Condé Nast Traveler has named Ard na Sidhe Country House in Kerry as one of the best affordable hotels in the world.
Located just outside Killorglin, Co. Kerry the hotel is hidden in the wild of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks. At €140pp with dinner, it made the list for its style and beauty at a reasonable price.
"Everything here is welcoming and restful rather than intimidating and grand. Ard na Sidhe's setting also bewitches. The gardens, sweeping down to the edge of the slate-coloured and silent Caragh Lake, are almost tropical in abundance," says the reviewer.

The hotel re-opens on 1 May for the 2015 season.
