A new poll of more than 2000 Brits by insurance company Direct Line has found that holidaymakers' biggest bugbear is dirty bedding and towels. The next biggest complaint was drunk or noisy neighbouring guests, followed by building work near to the hotel. A number of those surveyed also criticised fellow travellers who claim the best poolside sun loungers by laying their towels down at the start of the day. Commenting on the poll, Direct Line travel insurance company boss Tom Bishop said: "We put a lot of thought, effort and money into our annual breaks, so it’s not surprising that we expect the hotels, guest houses, restaurants and travel companies to put the same amount of effort in."
