Dublin's Castleknock Hotel Completes €7m Refurbishment

Dublin's four-star Castleknock Hotel has just completed a €7 million refurbishment that has seen the addition of 52 new bedrooms, new restaurant facilities, a luxury spa and an upgraded leisure centre.

As reported by the Irish Independent, the venue now has a total of 190 bedrooms, including 38 'deluxe' rooms with upgraded amenities and three deluxe executive suites featuring four-poster beds and jacuzzi baths.

Commenting on the property's enhancements, FBD Hotel & Resorts chief executive, David Kelly, said, "The spa is a particularly important addition. With an emphasis on premium brands and a premium experience, the spa makes Castleknock Hotel a real contender in the luxury hotel space."

The upgraded leisure centre includes a 10-metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and state-of-the-art gym, while new restaurant Earth & Vine serves a contemporary menu of artisan food presided over by chef Neal Kearns.
