By Dave Simpson

Dublin boutique hotel The Temple Bar Inn has announced plans for an extensive refurbishment which will see it increase its current bedroom stock of 101 to 190.

Dublinlive.ie reports that the three-star venue, located on the capital's Fleet Street, has applied to Dublin City Council for permission to add a further six-storeys to its premises, encompassing some 3,000 square metres.

If approved, the new extension will be constructed over an existing ground floor at the rear of the building.
