Hastings Group To Spend £53 million Building Northern Ireland's Biggest Hotel

The Hastings Hotel Group, which currently runs six high-profile hotels across Ulster, including Belfast's five-star Culloden Estate and Spa and the well-renowned Europa hotel, have announced plans it will spend £53 million on constructing Northern Ireland's largest hotel.

Intended to replace Belfast's former Windsor House office block, the company plans to incorporate 304 bedrooms into the building as well as providing employment opportunities for upwards of 150 people.

Chairman of the group, Sir William Hastings, told The Belfast Telegraph that the project represents the "company's biggest single investment to date" and that everyone involved in the construction process from the bricklayers, joiners and plasters to the tower crane driver will be solicited from firms natives to Northern Ireland.
