Heritage Hotel Renamed Midlands Park Hotel In €7M Refurbishment

The Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise has been rebranded as the Midlands Park Hotel and Conference Centre as part of a €7 million refurbishment project that has created 50 new jobs in County Laois.

Laois-nationalist.ie reports that the hotel is now under the ownership of hoteliers Anthony and Colm Neville, who also own the Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club in Enniscorthy and the Crown Bar in Wexford.

Anthony Neville asserted, "We are delighted to have purchased a well-established and much-loved hotel, and with our significant investment and expertise, we have been able to improve the facilities we know our customers want most. We are certainly taking the hotel in a new direction this year and we look forward to working with the great team in place, welcoming both regular and new customers."

The newly-refurbished Midlands Park Hotel includes 115 deluxe bedrooms, five specially-designed executive suites, a bridal suite, function room, conference centre, two restaurants and a variety of leisure facilities.
