Heritage Hotel Renamed Midlands Park Hotel In €7M Refurbishment

The Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise has been rebranded as the Midlands Park Hotel and Conference Centre as part of a €7 million refurbishment project that has created 50 new jobs in County Laois. reports that the hotel is now under the ownership of hoteliers Anthony and Colm Neville, who also own the Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club in Enniscorthy and the Crown Bar in Wexford.

Anthony Neville asserted, "We are delighted to have purchased a well-established and much-loved hotel, and with our significant investment and expertise, we have been able to improve the facilities we know our customers want most. We are certainly taking the hotel in a new direction this year and we look forward to working with the great team in place, welcoming both regular and new customers."

The newly-refurbished Midlands Park Hotel includes 115 deluxe bedrooms, five specially-designed executive suites, a bridal suite, function room, conference centre, two restaurants and a variety of leisure facilities.
