Hotel group Jurys Inn has announced that it is to offer free Wi-Fi to guests at its 31 hotels across Ireland, the UK, and Prague. The announcement forms part of a €2 million investment by the group in its IT service software and hardware systems.
In addition to free Wi-Fi on Jurys premises, guests who book through the Jurys website will get complimentary access to the Jurys Inn Premium Wi-Fi service, which is suitable for heavier internet usage such as streaming movies, gaming, and large file downloading. “Guests are increasingly travelling with multiple devices and the introduction of free Wi-Fi allows Jurys Inn to cater better to the needs of both business and leisure travellers," explained Shane Doyle (pictured), group IT manager at Jurys.
"We constantly strive to adapt to the changing needs of our customers and pride ourselves on introducing innovative new ways to enhance our service. Our customers have told us that access to free high-speed Wi-Fi is important to them and we are delighted to be able to offer them this high quality service in response.” The recent €2 million investment in technology is part of a significant investment programme that has seen the hotel group put forward over €31 million in property and services upgrades over the past four years.
