Marriott To Open First Northern Ireland Hotel In April

By Dave Simpson

Marriott has announced that its first hotel in Northern Ireland will open for business in April of 2018.

Located at Belfast's City Quays, the £25 million development is also set to be Ireland's first AC Hotel - a brand operated by Marriott in the UK, Europe and North America - as well as featuring Ireland's first Jean-Christophe Novelli-endorsed restaurant, as reported by The Belfast Telegraph.

The venue will encompass 188 bedrooms, a gym, lounge and conference facilities, and will be presided over by general manager Lisa Steele, who previously held the same position at both the Hotel Du Vin in Edinburgh and Belfast's Malmaison Hotel.
