Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in Killarney, Co. Kerry is being offered for sale with a guide price of €6.5 million.
The property was owned and developed by Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin who are believed to have invested around €10 million in extending and refurbishing the property. The hotel entered receivership around 18 months ago and DTZ Sherry FitzGerald are now selling the property on the instructions of the receiver.
The five-star resort is located within Killarney National Park and costists of 68 bedrooms and 10 self-catering units, together with conference and banqueting facilities.

The property also consists of a luxury spa and leisure centre.
The hotel and spa are still doing well and continue to make a profit, being particularly popular with US visitors. Jobs are not expected to be affected.
