The recently renovated Morrison hotel, located at Lower Ormond Quay in Dublin 1, has enjoyed occupancy rates 11% ahead of its forecast.
Patrick Joyce, general manager at the Morrison stated that the 138-room city centre hotel has had an average occupancy rate of 70-75% since reopening in February 2013, saying "It has been a phenomenal few months in Dublin."
The quay-side hotel, which is owned by Russian billionaire Elena Baturina, is a popular choice for post-concert stays and has strong links with the Irish show business scene, with all but one of the rooms featuring song lyrics on the walls.
Lyrics from new Irish band Kodaline were added to one of the hotel rooms' walls last month.
