Radisson Blu Limerick Record 28.5% Rise In Gross Profit For 2016

New accounts filed for Limerick's four-star Radisson Blu hotel reveal that the venue returned to profit in 2016, with pre-tax profits of €131,775 and gross profit rising 28.5% to €4.1 million.

The Radisson Blu Limerick is part of the iNua group, which recently revealed that it accumulated record earnings of €7.1 million in 2017. Radisson Blu Limerick directors reported that the venue's earnings before interest tax depreciation amortisation and rent (ebitdar) rose 46.8% in 2016 and said that they consider the €131,775 in pre-tax profits to be "a significant improvement" over the €344,605 loss in 2015.

Additionally, the directors expressed their confidence that ebidta will grow "going forward on the back of a continuing favourable macroeconomic environment but are alert to the risks and threats posed by fallout from Brexit and slowing international economic momentum."
