The Savoy Limerick Invests €500k In Tech-Friendly New Offices
The Savoy Hotel Limerick has announced the opening of eight new hi-tech offices in its business centre, catering to the tech sector in the city.

The Savoy Group, which also owns The George Hotel in the city centre as well as Hamptons Bar & Grill, has invested close to €500K in the Savoy Space project. The Savoy Group already employs a team of 220 and will add to this headcount with this new investment.

Savoy GM Damien Harnett said, “Local and state agencies have very positively indicated that small companies and start-ups are coming to Limerick and the Mid-West, looking for a ready-to-go home in a vibrant, hi-tech, collaborative environment. At The Savoy we are delighted to offer our Savoy Space offices to these small companies and start-ups, to assist them in their growth, development and ultimate success.”

In the hands of Harnett and his team, and equipped with the latest in office technology, the Savoy Space offices at The Savoy also benefit from other onsite Savoy facilities including communal meeting spaces, spa, pool, gym, bars and restaurants.

The new suite of offices, designed by Italian design group Studio Arredo/Think Green, is located on the second floor of the hotel. The design team, led by Maurilio Citterio, has worked closely with The Savoy Hotel project team and Harnett, basing the specifications for the Savoy Space offices on similar operations in Silicon Valley, New York and London.

At Savoy Space all utility costs are included from complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi over secure networks, complimentary local and national calls and in-house administrative support to a wide range of additional services.
