Sun Sets On Dublin Hotel's Collaboration With Four Seasons

The Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin will no longer operate under the Four Seasons brand from 31 December.

The luxury hotel is owned by London & Regional, which has parted ways with the Toronto-based Four Seasons chain. London & Regional purchased the Dublin Four Seasons in June 2011 for €15 million. This is about of a quarter of what it cost to develop the hotel, which was built in 2001.

The Four Seasons group said that it had reached a mutual agreement with the owner of the luxury Ballsbridge hotel to allow the hotel to be operated under a different five-star international brand. The new brand, which has not yet been revealed, will be associated with the hotel from January 2015.

The Four Seasons group said that until the transition it would be "business as usual" and that guests would be able to make reservations for the hotel through the Four Seasons group until 31 December.
