The Westbury Hotel, Dublin, owned by The Doyle Collection, has been awarded the “Best Business Hotel Ireland” in the Business Destinations 2014 Travel Awards, for the second year running.
The awards were chosen by a diverse cross-section of experienced users and purchasers of corporate travel as well as recognised industry influencers worldwide. Hotels are judged on several criteria including quality and range of services, sustainability practices, environmental awareness, customer service and business acumen.
The 2014 Business Travel Awards, organised by Buying Business Travel, took place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel on Park Lane, London. Some of the major award winners on the night were Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, who won the 'Best Upscale Hotel Brand' and Qatar Airways, who won 'Best Long-Haul Airline'.
The Westbury Hotel, which is located just off of Grfton Street, was chosen as Ireland's best business hotel because the judges say that it "has a sharp instinct for business travellers’ needs and its reputation as a corporate destination stems from a long tradition of welcoming multinational and domestic blue chip corporate, conference and incentive clients across its threshold".
The five star Westbury Hotel is owned and operated by The Doyle Collection, an independent, family-owned luxury hotel group with eight unique hotels located in prime city centre locations in Ireland, the UK and the USA.
