Waterford Castle resort is being put on the market, with the owners seeking offers in excess of €4.5 million.
The resort is on a 310-acre island on the River Suir, just two miles from Waterford city. It consists of a 20-bed luxury hotel in the castle itself and 43 lodges in the grounds.
According to the Irish Examiner, it is being sold by Nama - with Colliers International handling the sale.
The resort went into receivership due to substantial debts but it is trading profitably. It had a turnover of over €3.5 million in the past year, over €300,000 of which was from golf.
Included in the sale is a championship 200-acre golf course and clubhouse.
The hotel is reached via a car-ferry ride and while the ferry is not included in the sale, it can be bought for €700,000.
