Waterford Marina Hotel Sold for €4m

The Waterford Marina Hotel in Waterford City has sold for more than 25 per cent above its asking price.

The Irish Independent reports that the three-star hotel was put on the market in 2015 with a guide price of €3.2m, however Christie and Co, which handed the sale, has now secured a price of €4 million.

The hotel, which includes 81 bedrooms, a riverside bar and restaurant, a theatre-style function room and on site parking for 70 vehicles at the hotel, was built in 1997 and acquired by the previous owners, Frontline Asset Management Limited in 2015.

Dave Murray, director and head of brokerage Ireland at Christie and Co, said, "The Waterford Marina Hotel has an excellent reputation both locally and with visitors to the Waterford area which is well deserved".
