Kilkenny pub An Poc Fada was sold for €370,000 in a sale of distressed properties on Wednesday 3 October in an 127-lot auction, held by Allsop Space in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel. An Poc Fada at 20 Rose Inn Street had a maximum reserve of €345,000 and was described as “a freehold mid-terrace public house in a prominent city-centre location with a publican’s seven-day licence and subject to a tenancy.” In the sale on behalf of its receiver, bidding for the pub started at €300,000 and rapidly reached its sale price of €370,000.
