Co. Limerick's 41 Bar Acquired By Former Intercounty Hurler

The 41 Bar in the Co. Limerick town of Kilmallock has been bought by retired intercounty hurler Mike Houlihan, who also owns a bar on Kilmallock's Sarsfield Street.

According to The Limerick Leader, the 41 Bar closed for business several months ago and while Houlihan confirmed his purchase of the property to the paper, he did not elaborate on his plans for the venue. It is also currently unknown whether he intends to continue running his Sarsfield Street bar in the wake of the purchase.

Located on the town's Lord Edward Street, the 41 Bar is a long-established pub that's been regularly favourited by families and other local residents for many years now.
