The Berkelely on Mountjoy Street has become the first pub sold in Dublin in 2015.
The pub was sold by private treaty, the irish Independent reports. It is located in the densely located area near the Mater Hospital, Mountjoy Prison and the GAA Headquarters.
The sale price was not reported however it is believed to be well in excess of the €375,000 guide price. The buyer is a private investor from Northern Ireland.
it is expected to be the first of a number of pub sales in Dublin for 2015, as the market improves for straight sales as well as distressed property sales.
