Hogan's And L'Gueuleton Owner Sees Firms Profits Rise

The group that operators of Kelly's boutique hotel, Hogan's bar and L'Gueuleton restaurant on Georges Street, has seen pre-tax profits rise by 5% from €919,507 to €967,962.

The accounts filed for  for O'Regans Telfer Ltd for the twelve months to the end of May 2015 show that gross profits have increased from €5.24 to €5.3 million, according to the Irish Independent.

Telfer Ltd, operated by one of Ireland's best-known publicans Declan O'Regan, employs 92 people, 81 of which work in sales and the other 11 in management, and has staff costs of €2.294 million.

The directors renumeration has decreased from €168,000 in 2014 to €104,000 for the past year. Telfer Ltd has also seen its profits take account of non-cash depreciation costs of €517, 819 and their shareholder funds totalling €18.12 million.

There's been a sharp cash increase from €546,567 to €1.15 million, as well as an operating profit of €1.2 million and a paid net interest of €251,143.
