Well-Known Belfast Publican to Open New Cocktail And Tapas Bar

Founder of Belfast pubs Love & Death and Aether & Echo, Anthony Farrell, is set to open a new cocktail and tapas venue in the city's Cathedral Quarter.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that the bar, dubbed Blaklist, is being opened in the building formerly known as Frames and is said to be "internationally influenced."

Commenting on the venue's design, Farrell said, "I have drawn inspiration from the bars, places and people I have worked in, and with, including Barcelona, Paris and New York, as well as here in Belfast. My experiences in unique venues have contributed to the layout and feel of Blaklist, which will offer Belfast something very different."

Farrell proceeded to explain, "Our vision is for Blaklist to be an artistic meeting place where people can relax and socialise in a venue that is customer-oriented, atmospheric and experiential, which will deliver an experience like no other Belfast bar."
