Permission Sought To Replace Dublin Pub With Guesthouse

Uniball Bars Limited is seeking approval from Dublin City Council to demolish suburban Dublin pub O'Sheas of Clonskeagh and replace it with a 39-bedroom guesthouse.

Located along the Dodder river, O'Sheas of Clonskeagh was relaunched as a gastropub in the wake of being acquired by Next Generations Homes in 2016. Next Generation Homes was originally founded by business partners Greg Kavanagh and Pat Crean.

Ownership of O'Sheas subsequently passed to Uniball Bars, which was also founded by Kavanagh, after Kavanagh and Crean parted ways two years ago.
