Dylan McGrath's Mixed Fortunes As Rustic Stone Reports Losses

Dylan McGrath's Rustic Stone, which opened in 2010, has recorded a decrease in profits, dropping from €74,178 in 2014 to a loss of €7,697 last year.

Newly-filed accounts for Prime Steak Ltd, which trades as Rustic Stone, show that the company employs 62 people with staff costs rising from €1.06 million to €1.8 million in 2015 reports, The Irish Times.

McGrath's other restaurant, Fade Street Social, had a better year as its total income more than doubled from €281,042 in 2014 to €583,184 last year. Its staff numbers rose from 90 to 100 with staff costs totalling €2.38 million, up from €2.09 million in 2014.

McGrath's business partners Vincent and Gerard Mellinn have provided personal guarantees of €3.08 million to Prime Steak Ltd.
