Little Wing Pizzeria Set To Open In The Republic of Ireland

Popular Northern Ireland pizza chain Little Wing Pizzeria, which is part of the Beannchor Group, has plans for further expansion in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.

Managing Director Luke Wolsey told the Belfast Telegraph that they have a proven business model with ambitious plans for further growth in Northern Ireland in the coming years, whilst also looking at site locations in the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain.

The chain originally opened in 2009 in Belfast, serving classic wood fired pizza and pasta dishes, being particularly well known for their 24 inch pizzas and lasagne. The chain has rapidly expanded throughout Belfast where it's opened six of it's outlets over the past few years.

The Beannchor Group also has plans to open its Bullitt hotel in Belfast, with the first phase of development including 44 bedrooms, a cafe, as well as a bar and restaurant. The second phase of the hotel's development will add more than 30 new rooms.

The comes after UK restaurant chain Wings International said it planning to open a new 250-seater restaurant in the basement of the Cineworld Complex on Dublin's Parnell St.
