New Seafood Restaurant Tour Launched In Howth

A new tour business founded by food blogger Ketty Quigley called Dublin Delicious Tours has launched a walking and tasting tour of Howth village that will bring customers on journey around the town's various seafood restauraunts.

Fft.ie reports that the tour was designed with the intention of highlighting Howth as destination for food tourism by showcasing its seafood outets and the stories surrounding their produce. Patrons will be offered the opportunity to sample seafood from an assortment of local vendors and venues while simultaneously learning about Irish seafood history.

Quigley commented, “I’m delighted to be launching this new food tour of Howth. I love seafood and never understand why as an island nation seafood isn’t highlighted more. There’s nothing I enjoy more than eating a seafood dish in Howth, it makes me feel on holiday even though I live in Dublin. I suppose this tour was designed to recreate that experience for tourists and give them some authentic food memories of Ireland and show them that only 25 minutes away from Dublin city centre they can feel completely somewhere else, breathe and avail of the most delicious shellfish and fish in a picturesque Irish village.”
