Ireland's largest Domino's pizza franchise recorded a €4.2 million pre-tax profit last year and had turnover of over €33 million.
The stores under the Shorecal franchise are the busiest outlets in Ireland and some of the busiest in the world.
According to the Irish Independent, the company has experienced six consecutive quarters of sales growth in Ireland. The company, which has 48 stores in Ireland, added that like-for-like sales for these stores rose 5.3 per cent in the 13 weeks to September.
The Shorecal franchise is owned by Northern Irish businessmen Charles and Adrian Caldwell. They purchased the franchise a few years ago for over €22 million.
The directors said that the turnover was in line with expectations and that "the group will seek new opportunities to open stores whilst continuing to operate effectively and efficiently".
