As part of its spring marketing campaign, Tourism Ireland has teamed up with celebrity chef Paul Rankin in a new promotion to highlight Northern Ireland across Great Britain.
A special ‘visit Northern Ireland’ message will feature on one million packs of Rankin Selection Irish brown soda bread and Rankin Selection Irish potato slims - which will be distributed in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose supermarkets. The on-pack promotion will run for ten weeks, with the goal of encouraging people across Great Britain to come and visit Northern Ireland, and will also include a competition to win a two-night stay in Belfast.
David Boyce, Tourism Ireland’s deputy head of Great Britain, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to join forces once again with Paul Rankin for this special promotion to highlight Northern Ireland to potential holidaymakers in Great Britain. Northern Ireland is increasingly known for its excellent food offering, wonderful chefs and world-class restaurants and we welcome this opportunity to continue to promote Northern Ireland as a great food destination.”
