The Sunday Times has released its Top 100 Restaurants list, with Harry's Shack in Portstewart and Michelin-starred OX in Belfast making it onto the list.
Harry's Shack, owned by Donal Doherty, specialises in seafood and is located in a National Trust-owned building on Strand Beach, reports The Belfast Telegraph. It uses fish such as john dory and megrim, which are caught up the road at Greencastle, cooking them whole and served with cockles, capers and parsley, while vegetables come from their own three-acre farm.
OX, which chef Stephen Toman opened in 2013, serves modern, European dishes such as hay-baked celeriac with black garlic, chanterelles, lardo and truffle, with its Winter tasting menu costing £50.

The Sunday Times list was compiled by a judging panel including the likes of Jamie Oliver, Antonio Carluccio and Soho House founder Nick Jones.
"The panel is made up of some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the industry, from chefs and owners, to our own expert writers. They picked out the best culinary establishments in the UK," said Laurel Ives, editor of The Sunday Times.
