Revenues Rise 13% At Killarney Hotels Ltd
Killarney Hotels Ltd, which operates Co. Kerry's Europe Hotel and Dunloe Castle, has posted new accounts revealing revenues at the firm rose 13% to €19.2 million in 2016.
According to The Irish Independent, the group's turnover has risen 126% since 2011, when revenues amounted to €8.49 million. However, the company recorded a pre-tax loss of €5.5 million as a result of non-cash depreciation charges of €6.2 million.
Meanwhile, renumeration for directors amounted to €606,694, including €34,776 in pension contributions, and employment numbers rose from 175 to 191, with staff costs increasing from €7.3 million to €8 million. Additionally, shareholder funds amounted to €3.5 million and the company's cash pile increased from €6.6 million to €8 million.
Commenting on the statistics for 2016, a directors' report said they "consider the performance of the company to be in line with expectation."
