Just Eat Now Works With 1,800 Food Outlets
Just Eat, the online takeaway service, has marked its 1,800th restaurant partner with the signing of Thai restaurant Diep, which has eight locations throughout Dublin.
This year Just Eat has seen its shares soar, and the company has also seen a growing increase in restaurant partners, geographical locations and types of cuisine on offer.
The food delivery business says that 70 per cent of its customers use the Just Eat app or their mobile device when ordering, which has resulted in the app being downloaded 600,000 times.
Amanda Roche Kelly, managing director of Just Eat Ireland said, “The takeaway sector in Ireland is booming and is predicted to grow by 17 per cent by 2020 with online expected to grow by 40 to 60 per cent over the same period. We are in a privileged position with Just Eat to be working with and adding value to 1800 businesses in towns and villages nationwide.”
Just Eat operates in 15 countries around the globe and some of its recent Irish signings include Chopped, Bombay Pantry and Mao.
