McSorley’s In Ranelagh Is Close To Being Sold, According To Reports

McSorley’s, the popular Dublin pub, is close to being sold, according to reports in the media.

The Murray family has owned the pub since 1991 and is reportedly close to selling the establishment for an estimated €5.5 million.

Potential Sale

Reports in the media indicate that the pub is close to being sold to rugby stars and hospitality leaders, including former Irish international rugby players Sean O’Brien, Jamie Heaslip, Rob Kearney and Dave Kearney, as well as Noel Anderson, who served as chair of the Licensed Vintners’ Association (LVA).

The team is also behind Lemon & Duke, the Bridge 1859 and the Blackrock.

McSorley’s, in South Dublin, is particularly popular with rugby fans and sports enthusiasts.

The pub also has an all-day menu and live music on Fridays.
