Bottler Coca-Cola HBC Stops Production In Kyiv, Scraps Annual Forecasts

Coca-Cola HBC CCH.L has temporarily stopped production at its plant in Kyiv and evacuated employees following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the soft drinks bottler said on Thursday 3 March, adding that it scrapped its forecasts for the full year.

Russia And Ukraine Volumes And Operating Profit Percentage

The London-listed company, one of the many bottlers for Coca-Cola KO.N worldwide, generated approximately 20% of 2021 volumes and operating profit from both Russia and Ukraine.

Operations Resume In Areas Not Directly Impacted

The above news was followed by news that Coca-Cola HBC said that it has resumed operations in areas of Ukraine that are not directly impacted and will continue activity activity where it is possible and safe to do so.
