C&C CEO Stephen Glancey Steps Down

Bulmers cider manufacturer C&C Group plc has announced that its CEO, Stephen Glancey, has decided to retire and has stepped down with immediate effect.

Stewart Gilliland has been appointed as the group's interim executive chairman to ensure continuity of executive leadership while the group searches for a replacement for Glancey.

Gilliland stated, "The board would like to thank Stephen for his significant contribution to C&C over many years. The company is well-positioned to continue to implement its established strategy to deliver value for shareholders, and Stephen will continue to be available to help facilitate a smooth handover."

Group Trading

C&C also revealed that trading across the group for the four months to December 31, 2019, was in line with its board's expectations and trading remains on track to deliver double-digit EPS growth in FY2020.
