C&C Expects To Build Wine Packaging Business In Ireland

Bulmers manufacturer the C&C Group is hoping to build its wine packaging business in Ireland as concern among non-European wine-makers intensifies on the back of Brexit.

The Irish Times reports that group chief executive Stephen Glancy revealed C&C plans to “make an investment” at its Clonmel facility to give it the ability to package wine.

The news follows a C&C trading update that revealed the group’s recent trading has been helped by good weather and the World Cup.
