Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sales Exceed €4.5m

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin has sold over 100,000 cases in 2018, helping to push its turnover past €7 million, while its exports more than doubled, with the company selling over €4.5 million worth of product this year.

"A Remarkable Brand"

As reported by The Irish Times, Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin founder Pat Rigney stated, "What we set out to do was create a remarkable brand and a remarkable brand that would sell internationally. To achieve 100,000 cases you need to be selling in a number of markets, you need repeat business and you need to create a brand that people will connect with."

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is produced at The Shed Distillery in Co. Leitrim, which plans to launch its own whiskey brand in late 2019. The distillery also produces Sausage Tree Pure Irish Vodka.
