Quintessential Brands is set to start hiring staff for its new €10 million Dublin 8 distillery and visitor centre, which is due to be launched in late 2018.

Upon its opening, the property will promote The Liberties and The Dubliner whiskey brands, which Quintessential Brands marketing director Shane Hoyne told The Irish Independent are currently being sold in 50 countries.

Looking To Gin

Hoyne proceeded to the tell the paper that Quintessential Brands is also seeking to capitalise upon Ireland's current gin craze, stating, "The Irish gin sector has exploded with a load of different gin offerings and some really interesting ways to create gin, and has created something different to the UK gins.

"We absolutely will be looking at developing an Irish gin once the distillery is up and running."
