Rye River Brewing Company Co-Founder's New Drinks Firm, The Naked Collective, Signs Several Distribution Deals

Rye River Brewing Company co-founder Niall Phelan's latest drinks venture, The Naked Collective, has signed a number of distribution deals for Ireland and overseas markets.

As reported by The Irish Independent, The Naked Collective, which was founded by Phelan along with Catherina Butler and brought to market this month, produces a non-alcoholic beer brand called So.Beer and a naturally-brewed seltzer brand called Mude.

The Naked Collective's products, which are currently being sold at Spar, Londis and Mace stores in Ireland, will be available at 3,000 Irish stores, including Tesco and Circle K in the coming weeks, as well as a further 3,000 Irish bars and restaurants and 20,000 UK stores by the summer of 2021.

The company has also signed a Canadian distribution deal and intends to launch its products in the US, Italy and Asia too.

"A Serious Gap In The Market"

The Irish Independent quotes Phelan as saying, "We recognised a serious gap in the market. Millennials care about being informed, and see products and brands as extensions of themselves, especially when it comes to their thinking and beliefs on how humans affect the planet environmentally.

"They also have the greatest affinity with health and wellness activities, and our vegan ingredients, zero plastic and carbon neutral creation appeals to them."
