Slane Distillery To Host Weekly Christmas Market In December

Co. Meath's Slane Distillery will be tranformed into a Christmas village this December with the addition of log cabins selling a selection of giftware, local artisan produce, and locally produced confectionary.

The Slane Distillery Christmas Market will also feature an array of food trucks along with offering of a Slane Winter Spiced Apple Punch and Slane Irish Whiskey cocktail made with local Cockagee Cider. Additionally, live music will be showcased in the distillery’s Whiskey Lounge every Friday and Saturday evening.

"Festive Fun"

Speaking about the distillery's Christmas market, Slane Irish Whiskey co-founder Alex Conyngham said, "We’re delighted to bring a sprinkle of Christmas cheer to Slane this December. In addition to offering our guests a range of festive fun, the market also provides local producers and businesses the opportunity to showcase the range of expertly made artisan produce coming from the distillery’s surrounding area."

Slane Distillery Christmas Market will be launched with a tree lighting ceremony at 7.30pm on Friday November 30. Following the official opening, the Christmas Market will run every Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday from 2pm to 9pm and Sunday from 2pm to 7pm until Sunday December 23.
