Aramark has been named by Merlin Entertainments as the latter company's food and beverage partner for five locations in the UK and two location in the US.
The UK locations for the multiyear contract are Alton Towers Resort, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Thorpe Park Resort, Warwick Castle and Legoland Windsor Resort, and the US locations are Legoland California Resort and Legoland Florida Resort.
Food and beverage operations at the locations in the UK will start to operate under Aramark from March of this year, and the transfer is expected to be complete in the US by the end of March of next year, with Merlin Entertainments and Aramark working closely to ensure that food and beverage employees are supported as they transition to employment with Aramark.
Each resort and hotel will have a unique portfolio of food and beverage offerings that are based on the personality of each location.
Additionally, the two companies are collaborating to ensure that sustainable practices are core to the operations at all locations.
