Irish digital food ordering solution Flipdish has revealed the takeaway orders that were most popular among Irish consumers during the October Bank Holiday weekend.
Flipdish stated, "Flipdish, a digital ordering platform, has revealed the takeaway orders that were most popular among Irish consumers this Bank Holiday weekend. Unsurprisingly, chips remain the top choice for Irish consumers as it made up 53% of orders over the Bank Holiday weekend.
"Flipdish's data also detailed the top three food items ordered over the extended weekend break and included chips (53%), battered sausages (17%) and margherita pizza (11%). Coca-Cola (13%), Coke Zero (3%) and Fanta (2%) were the most popular drinks among Irish consumers this weekend.

"Getting down to the saucey parts of the data, dips are a staple when it comes to adding that extra flavour to those adored chips. Garlic (19%) and Curry (18%) sauce won the hearts of Ireland this weekend as they were the two most ordered dips."
