Cooks Academy Directors Decide To Liquidate Business Due To COVID-19 Impact

The company behind Dublin's Cooks Academy Cookery School, Cooks Academy Ltd, has informed its customers that it has decided to liquidate its business due to the impact that the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and related business restrictions have had on its operations.

Profitable At The End Of 2019

Cooks Academy began operating in 2005, and, in an e-mail to its customers, the company said that it was profitable at the end of 2019, at which time it had a strong forward order book.

Hit Hard

However, like many businesses, Cooks Academy has been hit hard this year by the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact of which caused the company's directors to make the decision to liquidate the business in order to avoid further financial attrition.
