BC Softwear Is Making Space And Making A Move

Since the launch of the company in 2002, BC Softwear has seen consistent and substantial growth. From humble beginnings, the company was based at the home of CEO and founder Barbara Cooke. It now employs 22 staff in both the UK and Turkey, and supplies spa linen, luxury towels, bathrobes and flip flops to over 12,000 customers across four continents.

BC Softwear currently has agents in France, The Netherlands and Georgia, and is in discussions with companies in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia. It also has further plans for international distributors in 2019 (the company welcomes enquiries).

New Premises

In April of this year, BC Softwear is moving to a new premises, primarily to facilitate the large volumes of stock the company holds and to further improve its customer service.

BC Softwear is known for holding a wide range of linen and slippers as stock items, which is why it has established a reputation for fast and reliable supply.

Designed with bin locations, the new 1688.42 square metre (or 18,174 foot) warehouse in Maidenhead, Berkshire, palletises stock where it can be replenished quickly and packed even more efficiently.

The warehouse is fitted with PSI sensors to reduce energy usage and, where possible, uses natural daylight. A fresh air system has been installed in the office space and, to encourage staff health and wellbeing, there are outdoor tables and chairs for lunch and outdoor meetings.

The new improved embroidery room has been designed with additional space for a dedicated sewing room. There is also a new showroom designed for customers to see and feel the range of towels and robes on offer, with ample car parking. Please call to book a showroom appointment.

The company stated, "We are especially pleased with the new vinyl screens, which not only provide screening for the building and shade from sunlight, but, as importantly, also look great!"
