Statement By Managing Director
The statement published on BelfastAirport.com quoted managing director Graham Keddie as saying, “Southampton is a pivotal addition to the overall easyJet network from Belfast International Airport. The inclusion of this route further enhances our GB network coverage, bringing the total number of UK destinations served to 16 on high-frequency services.
“The introduction by Jet2.com of a new winter route to Madeira is also to be welcomed. The addition of these new routes further increases the number of direct destinations available from Belfast International Airport, underlining our commitment to provide a greater destination choice to the local market.
“Both easyJet and Jet2.com are key strategic partners at Belfast International Airport, and we look forward to working closely with them in the future, to further develop their presence here.”
